10/05/2003 The newest incarnation
of our best selling Medialon Manager series is full of exciting
and useful new features which promise to make it the most powerful
manager to date . Headlining the long list of new features is a Flash
Control feature which enables or disable cues while a show is in
progress. Other highlights of "V3" include a Task Monitor
window to monitor shows without having to create complex user screens
and a Remote Desk to control all software without having to use
a keyboard or mouse, adding convenience while forgoing the risk
of accidentally upsetting other show elements.
In conjunction with the release of V3 comes the creation and subsequent
release of Medialon Manager Stage Edition. Following in the footsteps
of the two other successful Manager Editions (Lite and Pro), the
Stage Edition is a program tailored to the specific needs of live
event, theatre, and staging applications. Taking a less is more
approach, the new Stage Edition retains all the new advantages of
Manager V3 while dropping some of the programming capabilities used
almost exclusively for permanent installations. The result is a
more streamlined, easy to use (and less expensive) system complete
with the reliability of all Medialon software.
A more detailed presentation, as well as a complete list of new
features is available for viewing at http://www.medialon.com/English/pdt_show_news3.htm
Founded in 1992, Medialon designs and develops both show control
and dynamic signage software. Their show control program, Medialon
Manager, is noteworthy for its ability to synchronize nearly all
plausible elements of a show, whether it be lighting, audio, special
effects or digital video. Their dynamic signage software, Medialon
Display System, on the other hand, benefits from Medialon's years
of experience handling media delivery systems in museums and convention
settings and applies it to the feverishly growing world of point
of sales marketing. Medialon's programs have been traditionally
used in such settings as live shows, museums, theme parks and retail
shops, and by clients ranging from a famous American theme park
to the Apollo Theatre in Harlem (USA), National Gallery of Victoria
(Australia) and the Pompidou Centre in Paris (France).
